By Car:
Approaching The Joint at Kings Cross via Euston Road or Pentonville Road you do not have to enter the Congestion Charge Zone. The entrance is on Field Street so you will need to drive into the one-way system from the direction of Kings Cross tube station, veering right into Kings Cross Road and taking your first right.
Parking:
After 6.30pm and on weeknights you may park on a single yellow line in the boroughs of Camden and Islington free of charge. Field Street and many other roads in the area have only a single yellow line. There are pay meters on Wicklow street and many other streets east of Kings Cross Road. There is a Euro Car parks on Brittania Street. You may consider driving north up York Way where Kings Cross Staion will be providing a car park - follow signs. Alternatively you could drive up Pentonville Hill and into Islington's new shopping Mall where there is are 3 reasonably priced car parks.
By Tube:
Kings Cross tube is serviced by the following 6 tube lines:
- Piccadilly
- Circle
- Victoria
- Hammersmith and City
- Metropolitan
- Northern (City Branch)
Take the underground walkway to Thameslink station; Turn right out of the Thameslink exit. Field street is first right.
By train:
Kings Cross Thames Link, Kings Cross and St Pancras Mainline stations. Turn right out of Thameslink Station; take the right fork down Kings Cross Road, Field Street is first right. Walking time: one minute.
By Bus: (choice of 20)
17, 45, 46, 63, 259, N63, all stop on Kings Cross Road (opposite Field Stree) or on Gray's Inn Road (opp. Britannia Street)
From Grays Inn Road walk down Britannia Street, turning left at the end. Field Street is second left. Alternatively the following stop at Kings Cross Station:
10, 91, 250, 390, N10, N79, N91, 30, 73, 205, 214, 476, N73, N214
From the bus stop walk to Thameslink station and follow the instructions above.
