We want you to know about rehearsing at The Joint so, to help the search engines help YOU find US, we have stated the obvious in these red headlines. You can practise in our rehearsal rooms. You can rehearse in our music studios. You can also act or shout or film!

There’s a bit more to us than this though.

We have ten rehearsal areas and 2 waiting areas/dressing rooms/green rooms.

All our studios sound great. This is because we commissioned Recording Architecture to design them. Built from scratch, they are unusual shapes because they sound better that way! And none of our studios have pillars; this means that they are perfect for showcases and filming. All our desks are Soundcraft, every monitor mix (and there are LOTS of ‘em) is individually EQed and we use Turbosound for monitoring and front of house in our 3 largest studios. These features make The Joint pretty unique, but we can boast even more. All our studios feature air conditioning, natural light and high ceilings and we keep them scrupulously clean. We are right in the heart of Kings Cross, and literally 2 minutes walk from the station. Despite this we are outside the congestion charge zone. Our load-in is step free with a big shiny lift for upstairs studios and you can store your equipment with us.

At The Joint we want you to have the best rehearsal you can. Our efficient and helpful staff are on hand to help sort out any technical difficulties, lend you a lead, set you up on the free Wifi, serve you from our snack shop, or sell you a set of strings.
